Job Description
Our client, an employer of choice in the international customer service industry is seeking an HR Business Partner to lead the human resources group.
Reporting to the President, the HR Business Partner will lead a team and align HR initiatives with operational objectives and business needs. The role will develop partnerships across the company with senior management, leadership teams and frontline staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and managing the administration and payroll team.
- Coaching and mentoring other staff throughout the company.
- Plan, develop and implement strategic human resources and employee relations strategies including policies, programs and procedures.
- Lead the full recruitment function.
- Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Work with management to align operational and HR initiatives to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Administer training and development opportunities to staff.
- Advise on changing legislation and provincial policy requirements.
- Manage and maintain human resource information and record systems.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
The successful candidate has:
- Minimum of 3-5 years related of human resources experience.
- Degree or diploma in human resources and CPHR designation desired.
- Recruitment and employee training and development skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships across an organization.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Strategic, yet empathetic approach to handling conflict.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply laws, guidelines and policies.
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $90,000.
