Our Edmonton-based client is growing in transportation and industrial solutions and as a result they are seeking an energetic and seasoned General Manager.

This role requires a dynamic professional with strong leadership, operational expertise, and strategic planning capabilities.

The successful candidate will drive organizational growth, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement, while overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional financial performance, and cultivating a thriving workplace culture within a technical service-focused environment.

General Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic goals aligned with company vision and objectives.
  • Manage and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and profitability.
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, pursue market expansion opportunities, and enhance service offerings.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
The successful candidate has: 
  • 7+ years’ experience in management roles within industrial equipment or transportation industries
  • Proven experience in business strategy, operational management, and financial oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Mechanically minded would be considered a definite asset.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $110,000 to $125,000 depending on experience
