Job Description

We’re looking for a General Accountant to join our successful client in the construction industry in Bolton, Ontario.
Our client is an established organization with a thriving client base. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing the full cycle accounting process.

General Accountant responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor company accounting records ensuring compliance with company accounting policies
  • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly internal F/S reports
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly journal entries
  • Manage full-cycle accounting process for intercompany corporate entities, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and monthly balance
  • Support in managing the company’s financial affairs and general bookkeeping. 
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Manage treasury functions
The successful candidate has:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Expert in MS Excel program
  • Knowledge of accounting software programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed annual salary range is $70,000-$75,000
