Key responsibilities include:
- Independently advise and serve a wide base of existing clients.
- Maintain and update comprehensive financial plans including retirement, risk management, estate planning, insurance and pension analysis.
- Participate in business development activities including lead generation and client conversion.
- Tackle daily problem solving with agility and creativity.
- Collaborate with others on the Team.
What the successful candidate will bring:
- A university degree with CFO designation.
- 3+ years of financial planning experience.
- Candidates should be CSC or IFIC licensed and have their LLQP license or obtain it within a few months.
- Candidates fully bilingual in French & English will be given preference.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, value vs price and financial markets.
- Strong knowledge of various investment vehicles, asset classes and their role in a financial plan.
- A good understanding of taxation and the Canadian financial industry legislation and regulations.
- A good knowledge of insurance products.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience with CRM tools and MS Office products.
- Candidates with financial planning expertise in a niche market segment will be given preference.
- Demonstrated success in generating new client acquisitions.
- Excellent communication and people skills
