Our client, a well-established CPA firm in Coquitlam, B.C., is seeking a Financial Administrative Assistant to support their high-performing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to C-level executives and accounting professionals, playing a key role in maintaining efficiency within the firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to accountants, partners, and other team members to ensure smooth office operations.

  • Coordinates client meetings, internal events, and firm-sponsored activities, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and agenda preparation.

  • Manages executive calendars, schedules appointments, and ensures deadlines are met in a fast-paced accounting environment.

  • Oversees office operations, including ordering supplies, coordinating equipment maintenance, and arranging travel for executives and staff as needed.

  • Maintains, updates, and organizes financial records, client files, and confidential firm documents with a high level of discretion.

  • Provides reception coverage as needed, including greeting clients, answering calls, and directing inquiries professionally.
The successful candidate has:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of related admin experience.
  • Experience in an Accounting or CPA firm setting is preferred.
  • Degree or diploma is desired.
  • Previous C-Suite experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across an organization.
  • Strong sense of urgency and detail-orientated.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications.
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $55,000-$60,000.
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Potential to work from home 1 day per week.
