Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of a full in office, Temporary Executive Assistant to the Vice President (VP) for a 4–6-week term.

Our client, based on the southside of Edmonton, is a well-respected leader in their industry, who strives to provide a meaningful and inclusive work culture to their employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the VP, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of daily tasks.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Calendar Management: Effectively manage the VP's schedule, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Expense Management: Handle expense reporting and reimbursement processes for the VP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Document and Presentation Proofreading: Review and proofread documents, presentations, and correspondence to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Following-Up on Critical Deadlines: Monitor and follow up on critical deadlines, ensuring that tasks and projects are completed on time and within established parameters.
  • Tracking Work on Marketing's Creative Services Team: Collaborate with the Marketing department to track and monitor work progress, deadlines, and deliverables from the Creative Services team.
The successful candidate has:
  • Previous experience in an executive assistant or administrative role is a must
  • Able to work in office
  • Proficiency in calendar management, expense tracking, and document proofreading.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • The discussed salary range is $23 - $35 per hour depending on experience.
