They specialize in solving complex grout and slurry challenges through integrated process engineering, proprietary mixing technology, and field-proven systems.

In addition to engineered systems, AMIX offers rental grout plant solutions with operational support, providing flexible deployment options across the mining and construction industries. 

Their systems are built around proprietary high-shear colloidal mixing technology, delivering superior grout quality, reduced mixing time, and improved operational efficiency. Our applications include:
  • Underground cementitious grout for CRF applications.
  • TBM and two-component grouting.
  • Cementitious grout and bentonite mixing systems.
About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Process Engineer (P.Eng.) to fulfill the role of Responsible Registrant (EGBC) and provide core process engineering leadership within AMIX Systems Ltd. This role is primarily focused on engineering governance, professional compliance, and process design oversight.

Additional responsibilities such as grout specialization, equipment validation, EPCM execution, commissioning support, and mentoring will be developed progressively as the successful candidate becomes familiar with AMIX systems, data, and operations.

You will play a central role in linking test work, process design, and field performance, ensuring
engineering excellence across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to engineered systems, AMIX offers rental grout plant solutions with operational support, providing flexible deployment options across the mining and construction industries. AMIX operates primarily as an Engineering & Procurement (EP) organization, with partial EPCM involvement depending on project scope.

This is a key leadership role responsible for:
  • Acting as Responsible Registrant for AMIX.
  • Maintaining EGBC-compliant engineering practices and the company’s Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP).
  • Provide technical process design decisions across projects and proposals.
  • Mentoring and developing Engineers-in-Training (EITs).
AMIX supports the development of in-house expertise in their colloidal mixing technology through laboratory and pilot plant testwork to:
  • Define and standardize process design methodologies, calculations and engineering deliverables.
  • Lead development of PFDs, P&IDs, and process design criteria.
  • Perform equipment sizing and system design, including:
    • Mixing systems (high-shear colloidal).
    • Slurry transport and pumping systems.
    • Tanks, pipelines, and process integration.
  • Apply EPCM methodologies across all phases:
    • Preliminary - FEL - Detailed engineering.
What the successful candidate will bring:

We’re looking for a driven Process Engineer with a track record around mixing systems, a knack for solving complex problems and the following:
  • Registered with EGBC with P.Eng
  • Eligible and willing to act as a Responsible Registrant.
  • 7–10+ years of process engineering experience.
  • Strong background in industrial or mining process systems.
  • Valued experience (not mandatory, will be developed through R&D and further industry exposure/training).
  • Design and commissioning of mixing systems and slurry processes.
  • Cementitious grout and bentonite systems.
  • EPCM work environment experience.
  • Commissioning and field engineering.
  • Ability to travel to sites as needed

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($120,000 - $135,000), however if you have more experience, the range will clearly increase
