My client is on the hunt for a strong Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer in the advanced manufacturing industry.

The Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimizing complex industrial control systems.

Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer responsibilities:
  • Write, modify, and optimize PLC programs across industrial automation system
  • Troubleshoot controls, instrumentation, electrical, network, and equipment-related issues
  • Build, modify, and maintain HMI/operator interface screens using common HMI/SCADA platforms
  • Integrate and support instrumentation tied to process systems, including pressure, flow, temperature, level, vacuum, and related measurements
  • Support commissioning, startup, testing, and optimization of new and existing systems
  • Ensure control systems meet applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and operational requirements
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, technicians, electricians, and vendors to improve system performance
  • Support electrical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools, where required
The successful candidate has:
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or related environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls, Automation, Instrumentation, or similar
  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in manufacturing, process, or industrial settings
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues
  • Experience with HMI systems and operator interfaces
Compensation and benefits:
  • $115 000 to $130 000 based on experienc
