Job Description
My client, an award-winning healthcare company in Canada, is going through remarkable growth and expansion and is looking for an Echo Technologist to join their team of service professionals.
The Echo Technologist will be responsible for preparing and diagnosing patients, and ensuring safety and procedures are in compliant to standards. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and respectfully demeanour, and the ability work independently and collaboratively.

Echo Technologist responsibilities:
- Manage patient identification, preparation, and safety to ensure accuracy prior to sam, and maintaining confidentiality
- Welcome patients, and explain and prepare them for the upcoming examinations
- Attentive to patients during diagnostic performance, reporting any symptoms or changes and alert medical aid services
- Confirm all quality control assessment are implement as required
- Work in alignment with best practices, related policies, and the health and safety legislation, and consider all reasonable precautions
- Comply to company’s standards and procedures for appropriate equipment maintenance
- Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment and instrument performance
- Organize reports
- Other duties when needed
The successful candidate has:
- 0-5 years of related experience
- ARDMS or CARDUP certified and CMRTO registration is required
- CPR certificate
- Ability to use a variety of Echocardiogram machines
- Ability to conduct Stress and Contrast Echocardiograms is considered an asset
- Excellent people and organizational skills
- Committed to continuous education and training
- Proven problem solving and efficiencies decision making skills
