Job Description

Our Ontario-based client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to join their rapidly expanding organization. As a strategic leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their marketing efforts, overseeing classic, organic and digital marketing initiatives. With a strong focus on analytics, creativity, and customer-centric target marketing, you will help build long-term customer relationships and drive brand engagement across traditional and modern platforms. Our client is dedicated to creating meaningful touchpoints for their customers, and they value data-driven decision-making to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Assume responsibility for budgeting and tracking marketing   expenses to optimize efficiency and ROI. 
  • Engagement Ecosystem: Develop and foster customer engagement through modern and traditional marketing journeys.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize your extensive knowledge of automation platforms to drive lead generation goals and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Tailor interactions and communications to meet each customer's unique needs and preferences, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
  • Data Analysis: Manage databases, analyze campaign metrics, and provide insights for improving campaign effectiveness, leveraging data and technologies for comprehensive lead nurturing journeys.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales and Operations, to ensure consistent brand messaging and enhance customer communication.
  • Social Media Strategy: Lead the strategy and engagement of the company's social media platforms.
  • CRM and Marketing Automation: Consult with key stakeholders to evolve CRM strategies and tactics and oversee the implementation and evaluation of the marketing automation platform.
  • Marketing Roadmap: Create a marketing roadmap and calendar within the marketing budget, with a national focus.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitor research and analysis to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Trend Monitoring: Monitor trends in social, digital, and mobile media, exploring new tools and best practices.
  • Quality Control: Ensure quality control for marketing concepts and projects, including integrated media tasks.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, managing production scope, schedules, and budget effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Provide ongoing evaluation, mentorship, and guidance to your direct reports.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in developing multi-faceted customer journeys.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a track record of achieving results.
  • Expertise in building infrastructures to drive performance across platforms and channels.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Experience in building automation journeys.
  • Familiarity with migrations and restructuring of marketing accounts.
  • Strong B2C experience
