Director of Commercial Property, Corporate Underwriting responsibilities:
  • Set, refine, and maintain underwriting guidelines and standards
  • Serve as the primary technical resource supporting multiple profit centers
  • Identify trends and opportunities to support profitable growth
  • Lead and mentor a team, enhancing technical capabilities and leadership skills
  • Collaborate with other functional teams to support business objectives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships
  • Stay ahead of industry trends while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Oversee operational activities to drive efficiency, productivity, and alignment with underwriting strategy
The successful candidate has:
  • 10+ years of commercial property insurance experience
  • 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
