Job Description

We’re looking for an on site Director of Admissions in the post secondary education industry.

Our client is a privately held vocational education provider focused on adult learners pursuing career focused programs in high demand fields. The organization has experienced sustained growth and is continuing to professionalize its leadership structure.
This is a sales focused leadership role centered on conversion performance. The Director of Admissions will be responsible for owning application to enrollment conversion, coaching a high performing admissions team, and bringing discipline, accountability and structure to the enrollment funnel while maintaining ethical, student first practices.

Director of Admissions responsibilities:
  • Own the application to enrollment conversion rate as the primary KPI
  • Lead, coach and develop Admissions Advisors as a player coach
  • Diagnose funnel drop off points and implement targeted improvements
  • Set clear performance standards and hold the team accountable
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, documentation completeness and process discipline
  • Monitor pipeline health, application timelines and stalled files
  • Report enrollment performance, trends and insights to senior leadership
The successful candidate has:
  • Experience leading teams in admissions, enrollment, inside sales or conversion driven environments
  • A proven track record of personally improving a conversion metric
  • Strong coaching skills rooted in accountability rather than micromanagement
  • Comfort operating in evolving environments without perfect systems
  • A data literate, outcome focused and ethical approach
  • Clear, direct communication and commercial judgment
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed base salary range is $120,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
  • Comprehensive benefits package
