Job Description

My client, a successful law firm in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join their collaborative, high performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of tasks to support partners at the firm. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, motivated, and passionate about the legal profession.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Paralegal:
 
  • Due diligence searches and reporting
  • Disclosure statements, amendments, and information packages
  • Closing agendas and documentation for real estate acquisitions and sales
  • Preparing various real estate documents, contracts, forms as required
  • E-filing and database searches
 
The successful candidate has:
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in corporate law
  • CORES level II and SEDAR is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • A proactive, self-starter with a team-player attitude
