Job Description
We’re looking for a Controller in the manufacturing industry.

The Controller will play a key leadership role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence across the business.
Controller responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering professional development and a collaborative culture
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all financial processes and statements
- Partner with the executive team to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Manage internal controls and improve financial systems and reporting tools
- Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain policies that align with industry best practices
The successful candidate has:
- 3 or more years of leadership experience in a finance or accounting role
- A CPA designation in good standing
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in agriculture, manufacturing, or related industries is an asset
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
