Job Description

We’re looking for a Controller in the manufacturing industry in near Regina, Saskatchewan.

Controller responsibilities:
  • Lead all operational accounting functions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and financial modeling
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal controls
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings
  • Evaluate current systems and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to align financial goals with business strategy
The successful candidate has:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and scale accounting operations in a growing business
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Compensation and benefits:
  • The salary range is $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
  • Comprehensive benefits package
