Job Description
Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Establish and maintain strong internal control frameworks to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Direct the annual budgeting process, develop financial forecasts, and track performance against budgets throughout the fiscal year.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, overseeing the audit process.
- Lead, support, and mentor the accounting team to enhance their capabilities and effectiveness.
- Oversee tax planning strategies and ensure timely, precise tax filings.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, pinpoint variances, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Provide strategic insights to guide decision-making.
The successful candidate has:
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3–5 years in leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is required; an MBA or advanced degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring accounting teams.
- Skilled in ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal capabilities, fostering collaboration across all organizational levels.

Outside of work, she keeps active with her teenager, balancing school, sports and outdoor activities.
