Position Summary: The Content Strategy Lead is responsible for defining and executing a content strategy that supports our Integrated Digital Program (IDP) and aligns with the overall business goals. This role involves collaborating with various content owners, regional and channel leads, and localization teams to deliver a cohesive content plan that drives customer engagement and supports the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Planning:
- Define and develop the content strategy for the Integrated Digital Program, ensuring alignment with customer journey stages and overall program goals.
- Assess existing content and identify gaps by collaborating with internal content providers and thought leadership teams.
- Align the content strategy with Regional Hub Digital Leads, Channel Leads, Nurture Leads, and content owners, refining plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Drive content alignment across Marketing & Sales teams, ensuring clear ownership, prioritization, and delivery timelines for new content.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on solution-specific and technical content, while managing acquisition, promotional, and demand generation content.
- Develop and document localization strategies, in coordination with Internal Leads, ensuring content is tailored to regional requirements.
- Create detailed asset and creative briefs, working closely with the Program Lead, Program Planner, and Brand team to align content with strategic goals.
- Manage the end-to-end content development process ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Oversee the handover of final English content to Regional Hub Digital Leads and Localization Team for adaptation and deployment.
- Initiate the localization process and ensure content is properly tagged and tracked within content management tools (e.g., ICE, CMPS).
- Conduct message and content testing in partnership with Channel and Regional Hub Digital Leads, recommending optimizations based on testing results.
- Develop and maintain the Content Strategy, outlining goals, persona details, key messages, and content requirements.
- Create and manage a comprehensive content map and plan, detailing content needs by customer journey stage, prioritization, and specifications.
- Produce and distribute agency briefing documents and ensure the availability of localized content in relevant languages.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, sharing learnings and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Program Lead, CMSO, and other content providers to agree on new hero and product content priorities.
- Align with Channel Leads and the Nurture Lead on promotional content requirements to support execution plans.
- Ensure content strategies and plans are aligned with budget considerations and approved by the General Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in content strategy, content development, and project management.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and content alignment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple teams and senior leadership.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., ICE, CMPS) and localization processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Experience in a global or regional content role within a large organization.
- Knowledge of digital marketing practices and content performance optimization.
- Experience with content localization and working with international teams.
- Knowledge in Finance and SAAS industries
- Omni-channel experience
- $115,000-$130,000 annually
