Construction Sales Representative - 18964
Job Description
Our client operates across Western Canada and has over 50 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. They provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators, and associated controls. This role offers a permanent, full-time position. The Regional Business Development Representative will be responsible for enhancing the business development strategy.
Construction Sales Representative responsibilities:
- Achieve sustainable/scalable sales growth in all branch location segments and assist the General Manager with establishing performance accountability
- Adapt, support, and execute the sales program, including sales processes and structures
- Align sales growth strategy with the branch leadership, forecasting, and organizational objectives
- Assist the General Manager with developing, training, and supporting new outside salespeople
- Collaborate with all sales team members to achieve branch goals
- Build key relationships with branch segment customers to ensure sales budget, margin targets, and annual goals are achieved
- Identify potential customers and new opportunities in partnership with the Director of Sales/Business Development
- Transition key regional relationships from the Director of Sales/BD to the Regional Business Development Representative
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, professional publications, and networks
The successful candidate has:
- 3 to 5 years proven sales experience in the overhead door or construction industry
- Experience within both Corporate “C-Level” and Private Sector Industry
- Ability to travel within Canada and Internationally as required
- Excellent computer skills – MS Office
- Business Degree preferred.
- Professional Sales Training or equivalent experience
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $70,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
