Estimator
Job Description
We’re looking for a full-time Estimator in the corporate flooring industry based in London, Ontario.
Our client is a well-established commercial flooring company known for delivering large-scale, high-quality projects across multiple sectors. They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, building spreadsheets, and wants to grow a long-term career in estimating or project management.
Estimator responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for flooring projects based on drawings, specifications, and material take-offs
- Analyze tenders, contracts, and proposals to identify scope, pricing, and requirements
- Work closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to gather and verify pricing information
- Manage bid submissions and track tender timelines
- Develop and maintain Excel-based estimating tools and databases
- Review and compare supplier quotes and material options for cost efficiency
- Support ongoing projects by updating cost data and monitoring budget performance
- Assist with proposals, reports, and presentations for client submissions
- Participate in team meetings to support project coordination and handoff
The successful candidate has:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
- 1–4 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or data analysis
- Interest in growing in their career and learning new skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Interest in commercial interiors, construction, and flooring systems
- A proactive mindset and desire to learn and grow within the company
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 depending on experience

- On-site role in London, Ontario
- Monday to Friday schedule with standard business hours
