Our client, based in central Alberta, is known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and innovative offerings. The Catering and Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong client relationships and ensure exceptional catering execution.
Catering and Sales Manager responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and catering team.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Oversee catering operations, ensuring seamless event execution and exceeding client expectations.
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to design creative and personalized catering solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and expenses to optimize profitability.
- Prepare regular sales and financial reports, providing insights into performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
- Minimum 5 years in Catering / Banqueting Management within the hospitality industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and event management within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and catering management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Delphi.
- Ability and flexibility to travel as needed (occasional).
- Clear criminal record check upon hiring.
- The discussed salary range is $90,000 - $93,00 based on experience plus commission.
