Business Development Representative - O&G Grande Prairie

Job Description
We’re recruiting a Business Development Representative in the oil and gas equipment and instrumentation industry, focused on driving new revenue growth.
Our client designs and manufactures chemical injection systems, pumps, and monitoring solutions used in oil and gas field operations, including solar-powered and low-emission technologies for remote sites. This role is a front-line sales position responsible for expanding market share, opening new accounts, and building strong relationships with producers, contractors, and service companies across the territory.

Business Development Representative Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across Grande Prairie and surrounding areas
- Build strong relationships with producers, contractors, and service companies requiring chemical injection, pumping, and monitoring solutions
- Lead territory growth by opening new accounts and expanding product adoption
- Conduct site visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and field-based sales activities
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop application-focused solutions
- Maintain a strong pipeline, accurate CRM activity, and consistent follow-up
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs
- Travel throughout the territory as required, including occasional overnight trips
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in oil and gas, chemical injection, pumps, controls, instrumentation, or related technical sectors
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow territory revenue
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in both field and office environments
- Technical aptitude and comfort presenting equipment-based solutions
- A valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Base salary of $130,000 + Performance-based bonus program
