Business Development Manager - AI and Technology Solutions

Job Description
This is an opportunity to join a newly launched construction technology business backed by an established contractor. The company is focused on improving how construction operations are managed through modern technology platforms. This is an early stage, high ownership role working directly with leadership to build pipeline, open new opportunities, and help shape how the business goes to market.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys building from zero, wants ownership, and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape an early stage business.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach and industry engagement
- Build relationships with decision makers across construction, infrastructure, and related sectors
- Qualify opportunities and move them through early stage conversations
- Own and manage pipeline activity from first contact through qualified lead
- Work closely with leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and go to market approach
- Represent the business at events, networking opportunities, and industry forums
The successful candidate has:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or pipeline generation
- Proven ability to build pipeline through outreach and relationship building
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging senior stakeholders
- Strong exposure to AI technology, SaaS, construction technology, or similar modern technology environments
- Comfortable understanding and communicating technology solutions to non technical stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently in an unstructured, early stage environment
- Base salary in the range of $110,000 to $130,000
- Commission tied to deal generation and conversion, in addition to base salary
