Job Description

Our industry-leading client in Abbotsford is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to expand their team with a skilled Business Development/Estimation Representative (Construction). This key role will drive business development, manage major projects, and act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.

Business Development/Estimation Representative Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Lead end-to-end project management — from pre-bid planning, estimation, and proposal development to execution — supported by a dedicated operations team.
  • Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure project goals and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Analyze project specifications to define scope, schedule, budget, and execution strategies.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate new business through networking and industry engagement.
  • Manage trades and subcontractors throughout project execution.
What You Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience, ideally in engineering, construction, or a technical field.
  • Experience as an Estimator or Project Manager (PMP Certification not required).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent time management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
  • Consideration for higher compensation for candidates with advanced experience.
  • Monthly car allowance with additional gas card.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • RRSP matching (up to 5% of base salary) after 3 months.
