Role Overview:
The Brand Manager will be pivotal in gauging product demand, monitoring industry trends, organizing special events, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. This position involves direct interaction with brand owners and retailers.
We seek a proactive individual with an outgoing personality, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will manage projects, events, and coordinate brand strategies and timelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the market and recommend seasonal positioning and brand strategies
- Perform seasonal and annual forecasting in line with brand timelines
- Manage seasonal and annual sales forecasting and promotional budget
- Assist in developing seasonal marketing presentations by brand and retailer
- Create and maintain a seasonal marketing calendar, plans, and materials for sales teams
- Collaborate with the Education Manager to develop supporting training programs
- Work with the social and digital engagement team on new launches and promotional press releases and events
- Organize special in-store and outbound events aligning with brand image, liaising with Regional Account Executives for execution and results analysis
- Oversee document preparation by retail partners
- Provide monthly reporting to brand partners
- Assist in managing digital and social media materials
- Proof and layout advertising and visuals
- Conduct business analytics, including price and competitor analysis
- Handle forecasting and reporting
- Manage direct reports and projects
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proven track record in executing plans and projects on time and on budget
- Capable of meeting the demands of a seasonal industry
- Understanding of tight deadlines and quick turnaround times
- Education in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
- Experience working with internal and external vendors
- Minimum of 5 years in the beauty industry is required
- 5 years of experience in brand segment management
- Bilingual in English and French
- Experience with Cognos reporting and proficiency in MS Excel
- Competitive annual salary: $80,000-$90,000
