Branch Manager
Job Description
They are looking to add an Operations Manager who can lead daily operations, build strong customer relationships, support revenue growth, and create a positive, accountable branch culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, managing branch performance, and working closely with customers in a technical service environment.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day branch operations, including customer service, operations, warehouse activity, equipment flow, and team performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial clients in the local market
- Support revenue growth through customer engagement, service excellence, and strong operational execution
- Oversee branch financial performance, including revenue, margin, costs, and overall P&L accountability
- Manage operational KPIs while improving processes, efficiency, asset utilization, and service quality
- Ensure equipment, products, and services are delivered accurately, safely, and on time
- Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Develop and implement local business plans to support branch growth and customer retention
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgets, sales targets, staffing, and operational priorities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR standards, health and safety requirements, and local regulations
- Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture
- Coach, mentor, and develop branch employees while setting clear expectations for performance
- 3+ years of management experience in a branch, operations, service, equipment, industrial, logistics, or technical environment
- Strong customer service and client relationship management experience
- Experience managing revenue, costs, budgets, margins, or full P&L
- Proven ability to lead teams, set expectations, and hold people accountable in a professional way
- Strong operational discipline and comfort working with KPIs
- Experience improving processes, service levels, safety, and team performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A calm, mature, hands-on leadership style
- Experience in equipment, industrial services, environmental services, construction services, logistics, or rental would be considered an asset
- Multi-site or larger branch experience would be considered an asset
- Competitive compensation, expected in the range of $110,000 to $115,000 plus bonuses.
