Job Description
Bookkeeper responsibilities:
- General accounting and bookkeeping functions
- Accounts Receivable / Payables and Reconciliations
- Handling bank and credit card transactions on a weekly basis and proves expense reports
- Setting up supplier payments and invoices on a weekly or by-weekly account.
- Bank reconciliations
- Other duties as deemed necessary based upon business and/or department needs
- 5+ years of experience as full-cycle bookkeeper/accountant
- CA or legal background is an asset
- HR component an asset
- Knowledge of Quick Books
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and organize
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), databases and accounting software, and aptitude to learn new programs
- Ability to build relationships
- The salary range is $75,000-$100,000 dependent on experience

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Business Management and Industrial Psychology, further enriching her ability to understand the human dynamics involved in recruitment, including personality ‘fit’ in the workplace. Outside of work, she keeps active with her teenager, balancing school, sports and outdoor activities.
