Job Description
Our client is a global leader in providing chemistry programs, services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies. The Northern Alberta Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and executing sales plans within an assigned territory.
Artificial Lift Sales Representative responsibilities:
Â
- Provide sales support for company product lines (artificial lift, tubular, well head, and related products).
- Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans.
- Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new accounts to meet territory profit goals.
- Research and forecast sales activities in the assigned territory.
- Use sales tools and processes to promote efficient and effective sales.
- Organize presentations for distributors and end users.
- Support and lead trials of new technologies and bring new ideas to the territory.
- Initiate and lead sales campaigns within the territory.
- Supply after-sales technical support to customers.
- Travel within the assigned sales territory.
The successful candidate has:Â
Â
- Four or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the artificial lift and oil and gas industry.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Good negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to use a customer relationship management system.
- Ability to travel
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
