Architectural Technologist - Retail & Restaurants - 19035
Job Description
Reporting to an Associate Architect, you’ll be joining a growing firm with a long pipeline of work lined up.Â
Architectural Technologist responsibilities:
- Preparation of preliminary drawings, kitchen layouts, working drawings and details.
- Provide contract administration such as shop drawing review/SI/RFIs/etc.
- Coordinate consultants and engineers, and problem-solve technical issues.
- Work under the guidance of an Associate Architect
- 3+ years minimum experience, with a minimum of 2 years locally in BC
- Strong technical knowledge in the restaurant and retail industries; or experience drafting shop drawings
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Architecture or Technologist qualification
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated the ability to plan, schedule, and execute assignments of broad scope.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and demonstrate high level of attention to detail.
- $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience
- Those with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
