Job Description

We’re looking for an Administrative Coordinator in the Vocational Training industry.

Our client, a people driven organization is looking for a dynamic, self driven Administrator to join their team. This is an in office role ideal for someone who enjoys being people focused. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with all administrative needs within the internal team, including instructors as well as assisting students in a variety of areas.

The ideal candidate is located in one of the following areas of metro Vancouver: Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Langley.

Administrator Coordinator responsibilities:
  • Communicating with Provincial training authorities, businesses and government entities
  • Taking care of front office needs
  • Being the first point of contact for students
  • Handling inquiries and resolving issues
  • Draft responses to queries and interactions from legal entities and banks
  • Take meeting minutes on occasion
  • Assist students with additional financing needs, liaising with Service Canada and Skill Trades B
  • Set up courses, working with instructors and the business operations team

The successful candidate has: 
  • Min 3 years experience
  • Post secondary education preferred
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Skill Trade BC and Vocational training
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong at communication and prioritization

Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience
