Job Description

We’re looking for a professional administrator in the Victoria area.

Our client is looking for a professional administrator to join their small but dynamic team. The Administrator will be responsible for taking care of all of the teams administrative requirements as well as managing the reception area. As the key administrator for the team, you will have the opportunity to really own your space.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities:
  • Keeping on top of office supplies and managing ordering schedule
  • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle incoming calls and redirect as needed
  • Manage couriers and mail
  • Take quality, accurate and detailed meeting minutes
  • Print reports from QuickBooks
  • Inputting expenses, matching receipts and reconciling
  • Schedule meetings and ensure boardrooms are set up appropriately
  • Assisting team members with tracking and progress for their workload and projects
The successful candidate has: 
  • 5 years experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level use of Excel & MS Word as well as the entire MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks for printing reports
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Zoom & Teams
  • Strong experience taking meeting minutes
  • Comfortable following processes and procedures
  • Experience working with a governing body and asset
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $26 - $28 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
