Accountant
Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for managing full cycle accounting using QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring accurate and timely financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the business.
Accountant responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle accounting processes from start to finish
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Support year-end audit preparation and documentation
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed
The successful candidate has:
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
- College diploma or university degree in accounting or finance
- Strong experience using QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in an in-office environment
- The discussed salary range is $55,000 – $75,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
