Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading finance and strategy for the organization, overseeing a large finance and accounting team, and partnering with the executive team to achieve strong growth goals.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsibilities:
- Partner with the executive team to lead financial strategy to achieve growth goals
- Oversee finance and accounting across multiple business lines
- Bring expertise and experience to strategize, build, and execute on business operations and growth plans
- Lead by example by living the corporate values of having no ego and believing that no job is too small for anyone
- Post-secondary degree and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Executive experience within a complex organization with multiple lines of business
- Experience with global parent companies, subsidiaries and partners
- Experience partnering with shareholders
- Experience with global manufacturing and/or global supply chain an asset
- Excellent communication and management skills
- The discussed salary range is $200,000 – $250,000, depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered

In addition to leading the team, Georgia continues to run an active recruitment desk, specializing in the placement of senior accounting and finance professionals.
Georgia first joined The Headhunters in 2012, and over the past decade has had tremendous success placing administrative, accounting and senior finance professionals. In 2017 she was promoted to Branch Manager in Vancouver, and in 2020 became Director of Recruitment. As Director, she managed the recruitment and sourcing teams across Canada, navigating many organizational changes and challenges, including the Covid-19 global pandemic. She was promoted to the role of President in 2022.
Passionate about people, Georgia is driven by a genuine curiosity about what makes individuals and organizations thrive. Throughout her career, she has been fascinated by understanding not just what people do, but how they think and what motivates them.
