The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day AP functions and supporting a high-volume operation.
Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and on time
- Verify, code, and match purchase orders and receipts
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques and electronic payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing
- Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed
- 2 or more years of accounts payable experience
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- A team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
- Salary range is $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
