Accountant Receivable

Job Description
We’re looking for a remote, hybrid, or in-office Accountant in the accounting industry. Our client is a growing company based in Calgary, Alberta, and they are building out their accounting team with several new hires. This is a temp to perm opportunity that offers flexibility, stability, and the chance to grow with an organization that truly values work life balance and family priorities.

The new Accountant will be responsible for supporting full cycle accounting and day to day financial operations across the team.
Accountant responsibilities:
- Support full cycle accounting activities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with the accounting team on process improvements
The successful candidate has:
- 2 or more years of accounting experience
- Post secondary education in accounting or finance
- Experience with accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in remote, hybrid, or in-office settings
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed hourly pay range is $25 to $40 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
