Account Manager - 18919
Job Description
Our client is known for its innovative and environmentally responsible chemical and mechanical solutions. They focus on optimizing their customers' system performance and productivity while minimizing environmental impact and health and safety risks. The Account Manager will be responsible for retaining and growing customer accounts, promoting and selling products and services, and ensuring the profitability of the territory.
Account Manager responsibilities:
- Maintain and grow sales within existing customer accounts
- Provide technical services and support to existing customers with the assistance of the technical support group
- Execute negotiations and obtain contract signatures
- Complete requests for information, quotes, and proposals
- Propose and implement marketing strategies in the territory
- Reinforce and articulate the company’s strategies
- Manage and coordinate contracts, calls for tenders, and client requests
- Continuously improve technical knowledge, product knowledge, and application methods
- Share knowledge with appropriate individuals and departments
- Apply ISO-9001 standards for customer service, R&D, market research, and relevant sections
- Update information daily in the CRM & AX systems
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong sales skills and experience managing complex sales cycles
- Passion for sales and customer relationships
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Good business acumen
- Focus on performance and achieving results
- Superior consultative sales skills with the ability to close deals
- Commitment to achieving key performance indicators
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and respect for deadlines
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biology or equivalent
- Availability to travel
- Valid driver’s license
- The discussed salary range is $70,000 – $95,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
