Job Description
A pioneer in their industry, our client is a global leading manufacturer with applications in the EV charging, conveying & logistics, lighting, horticulture, and energy markets. They are excited to add a remote-based outside sales professional to their team who will grow alongside this well-poised company in a thriving field. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible promoting, maintaining, and developing their territory (Alberta) selling a full catalogue of products/solutions to new and existing customers.
Regional Sales Manager responsibilities:
- Promote full category of products and services to key centers of influence in all target sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to generate leads and increase sales pipeline.
- Build and grow sales with existing client relationships.
- Provides technical, effective sales presentations.
- Provide customer service for a range of related topics.
- Cultivate new relationships to understand customer’s equipment demands.
- Collaborate with the product/engineering departments to create products that will increase sales and profitability.
- Post-secondary education in a technical/electrical field.
- Proven experience in a Technical/Industrial Sales role – preferably Outside Sales or Territory Management.
- Technical understanding of electrical equipment is considered an asset.
- Service oriented mindset with excellent relationship building skills.
- Willingness to be on the road within territory 4 out 5 working days.
- The discussed salary for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 plus commission structure.
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered.
