Operations Manager
Job Description
Our client has skyrocketed in the past 18 months and is preparing for staggering growth in the years to come. They are excited to add a true leader to their team who will grow alongside this well-poised company in a thriving field. The Operations Manager will be responsible for all back-end operations and budgeting.
Operations Manager responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and lead the Operations Team
- Coach, motivate and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Take charge of team’s projects, performance, and development
- Verify that the team has all resources, facilities, materials, tools, and other resources to operate effectively.
- Maintain overall job schedule and upcoming work schedules, working with the General Manager.
- Communicate regularly with clients, obtain feedback, and focus on client satisfaction.
- Pro-actively communicate with all stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues, using a positive collaborative approach to ensure quick and effective solutions.
- Assist the General Manager with management tasks as needed (e.g., project management, data tracking, financial analysis, client relationship, etc.).
- Be the subject matter expert as it pertains to project execution and available opportunities such as fill sites and material supply.
- Lead recruitment, training, and retaining employees.
- 7+ years of experience in mining industry with at least 3 years of experience in a management role
- Strong and established industry relationships.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with cost control, schedule, execution, and contract/change management.
- Ability to inspire and lead project teams.
- Excel under pressure and possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make key decisions with confidence.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $100,000, depending on experience.
