Job Description
Our client, a leading Canadian provider of health care services and products is seeking a Manager of Finance to lead a team in financial reporting, budgeting, tax, process improvement and financial analysis.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare the financial statements for 5 different entities including consolidation.
- Leading, developing and coaching team of 5 on finance team.
- Coordinating monthly review of GL and reconciliations including inter-company transactions.
- Provide oversight to the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general accounting functions.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Financial analysis and interpretation of trends and results.
- Review and approval of payroll.
- Special projects as part of continued growth across Canada.
- Coordinating the year-end review with external accounting firm.
What the successful candidate will bring:
- A CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of senior finance leadership.
- Highly developed financial reporting skills and ability to manage time effectively to meet reporting deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop an existing high-functioning team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Sage 300 accounting software would be beneficial.
