We’re looking for a hybrid Financial Analyst in the real estate development industry based in Edmonton, AB.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial insights, supporting investment analysis, and assisting leadership in making data-driven decisions. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to real estate development projects from start to finish while being part of a growing and forward-thinking team.
Financial Analyst responsibilities:
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, and variance analysis for development projects
- Support investment analysis and project feasibility studies
- Assist in preparing budgets, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Partner with operations and project managers to monitor costs and performance
- Contribute to process improvements and enhance financial reporting tools
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting requirements
The successful candidate has:
- 3 or more years of financial analysis or related experience, ideally within real estate, construction, or development
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $80,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
